Our new Student Retention Representative position is responsible for driving increased student retention by assisting the Admissions Department through proactive outreach to assist pre-class students in resolving delinquent prepayment plans or providing additional payment plan options to maintain enrollment in their program of study. Additionally, the Student Retention Representative will collaborate with other departments to identify and obtain alternative third-party financing options, and alternative funding sources.
Role & Responsibilities:

Provide required information and documentation to 3rd party financing, or alternative funding sources in order to obtain additional financing options for potential students- Creating and monitoring pre-class missed payment reporting to identify at-risk students
- Conducting targeted outreach to enrolled students in pre-class status who are at risk of being dropped from programs for non payment of tuition
- Adjusting payment plans or invoices for students as needed
- Assisting the admissions team with student outreach for Pre-Class drop requests and submission of drop tickets as needed
- Possible nurture/stitch-in meetings
- Additional tasks as identified
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in administrative or customer service roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a high-energy team environment
- Excellent organization and the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to handle escalated issues calmly and professionally
- Demonstrated positive work ethic and attitude
- Experience with Google Suite is required.
- Computer literacy, including word processing and database management, are required.
- Organizational and time management skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Empathy and ability to handle difficult conversations with student
